#107 Chanting Bhairava (God)

God is everything. Everything and everyone comes from God, and God is in everything. By chanting the name of God, we are lead back to the Source of all creation. One can practice this meditation by chanting God verbally, or in one’s mind. The verse uses the word Bhairava, which is one of the names of God. You can use any name of God that you are comfortable with, or you can simply use the word God. Chanting a mantra or a name of God has many benefits. The most important one is that it stops the mind from thinking. It is difficult to chant and think at the same time. In addition, the name of God has a certain power, a certain energy. It directly leads one to their true nature.
